DH found some butternut/acorn/spaghetti squash mistakenly priced 39c EACH instead of per pound so yesterday i made stuffed spaghetti squash. SO COOL how it does that ! Today i'm making crockpot butternut squash soup with maple roasted chickpeas, served with a clearanced rotisserie chicken

That sounds really good, cookie! My people won't go for butternut squash so soon yet, so I'll be there 6ish??? for dinner? I went to Target last night right before dh came home. He did a great job on the leftovers, not only finishing the shepards pie I had in the oven for him, but also the left over Italian sausage, the rest of the potatoes & a lot of the turkey. Tonight will be more leftovers. Pretty sure it's not just turkey I made too much of....

I have no clue. Off to poke my head in the fridge. Was reading all the talk about bacon elsewhere and now I am starving.

That looks yummy!!!!! I will be trying this and it is sooo easy DS can do it himself.
Was wondering if you had bacon and remember the Farmland deal. Bacon might not travel well at the PO.

I had an idea for dinner last night. I get home, ask DH if he's hungry, he says 'Eh, I'm more snacky'. So I tell him we have cheese & crackers or popcorn. Then I ask what he would like to snack on, cuz *I'm* hungry. He replies 'grilled cheese'. LOL So, I fried up some kielbasa & he had leftover rice w/his & I had leftover mashed potatoes w/mine. Tonight, I have no idea. Something frozen cuz I haven't taken any meat out. Or breakfast dinner. Or pasta...hmm...LOL

Served Thanksgiving food (cooked Saturday) one more time last night, except DH ate broiled salmon because he had it in his mind that the turkey made him feel sick. Funny didnt happen to anyone else....
Still more left. A lot! Ugh. I guess I will freeze and it will turn up in something later.
Tonight is breakfast for dinner. Fried Potatoes, pork sausage, maybe pancakes if I feel ambitious. Not sure on fruit/veg with this dinner. Carrots/Celery.... grab a banana for after dinner hunger?

That's a good idea, focadima. I just froze the rest of our turkey for future use. I can't take it anymore. Tonight we are having Dijon Tarragon cream chicken with fingerling potatoes, ___________ and a salad. I'm going to walk up to Mariano's shortly to get a few staples and fill in that blank.
