DF, what will I be feeding my family this month? LOL! Well, hopefully you have leftovers to see you through most of this week because that's what the plan is here! We have so much food left over. I'm going to recycle most of it & save some grocery $$ this week. Tonight is "I have no idea" night. I have a 10am self-imposed start time today. That will hopefully be the hour of inspiration for dinner, decorating, unpacking & gift inventory.

Made a beef roast yesterday. So I'm taking the leftovers and shredding for BBQ beef sandwiches served with fries, fruit and whatever veggie I pull out of the freezer.

I made a new recipe for tonight so we will see how it goes over. It is a cheesy chicken casserole, but the cheese is a mixture of parmesan, gruyere, and fontina. I have NEVER worked with the last 2 cheeses so we will see how it tastes.

Made a beef roast yesterday. So I'm taking the leftovers and shredding for BBQ beef sandwiches served with fries, fruit and whatever veggie I pull out of the freezer. Today is steak and potatoes for DH and I but I made a pork roast on Saturday , so the leftovers will be for pulled pork bbq sammies tomorrow, unless they get to the leftovers before then.

correction, potatoes are growing some massive shoots so I'm reworking the menu to the Roasted Pepper/ tomato Campbell sauté with steak, broccoli and rice. Fish.

Tonight was chicken Caesar salad. I was going to have Texas toast with it, but I forgot to make it until I was plating up the salad. Woopsie.

Haha, DH was just making his "lunch" for tonight and I asked what he was putting in there...it wasn't the pork! DH was actually looking for the leftovers from brats we had last night--- which DS23 had for lunch ( second dinner I made with DS21 in mind that he wasn't there to eat-FISH).

Made extra rice last night, so tonight will be a rice bake w/ground turkey, leftover gravy, & cheese.
