Marianos put out an ad for the next two weeks: www.marianos.com/Shop/WeeklyAd.aspxA few coupon deals that caught my eye are: • Driscolls Blackberries on sale for $1.88 - use a $1/1 from completing their berry surveys and get these free with doubles • Morningstar Farms on sale for $3 - use $1/2 IPs from coupons.com or target.com and get each for $2 with doubles • I got a Catalina alert from Dominicks running from 9/9 - 10/6 for buy 3 get $2 OYNO, buy 4 get $3 OYNO and buy 5+ get $4 OYNO so hopefully it will run at Mariano's too (the last one did) - so the scenario with 2 IPs would be to buy 4 for $12, double two IPs, and get back $3 OYNO for a net of $1.25 per box after coupons and Catalina • Pillsbury Toaster Strudel on sale for $2 - double a $0.50/2 Q from the 6/23 or 8/4 SS and get them for $1.50 each (plus another $0.25/1 back on Savingstar!) • Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers on sale for $1.50 - double a $0.60/3 from the 8/4 SS and get them for $1.10 each (plus another $1/3 back on Savingstar!) What looks good to you? How it works: -$25 minimum purchase (seems to be based on regular/shelf prices, not sale prices!) -first 5 coupons (with value of $1 or less) are doubled, so hand over your doublers first! -any additional coupons are deducted from your order at face value

Alrighty, next week is the week for me to discover Mariano's. I've been saying that since the Frankfort location opened, but now the Morning Star deal will drag me in. DD19 leaves for school at the end of the month & this will help get her stocked on vegetarian food. Thanks!

In the Jewel coupon book thing (the one that had the rotisserie chicken) there is a $1/1 Green Giant Fresh coupon. I wonder if these are the fresh steamers? And if so, how will that work with the doubled coupon- will they adjust to make it free or will there be .50c overage?

It's not the right product -- the coupon in the booklet is for the bags of fresh veggies, and "fresh steamers" despite the name are frozen, lol

I cannot believe how FANTASTIC Mariano's is! WOW! I could have dropped $500 on cheese alone. I have never seen such a wonderful grocery store, ever. I realized after stopping at the Lemont Dominick's a couple years ago that our stores here are super gross & unappealing. There's no "zing" to them.
I still can't believe I walked out of Mariano's with nothing more than the MorningStar stuff. I think I was totally overwhelmed. I bought 8 items for $12 after the cat. Awesome! That would have been well over $30 at Jewel.

I went today too and did a transaction with Morningstar and berries, and another one with mostly produce.
Two things I noticed: -the Clif Mojo bars are still marked 10/$10 until 9/28 at my store, so if you still have $0.50/1 insert Qs you can still use them for free bars next Wed too with doubles -my store had Muller yogurt on clearance for $0.97 while supplies last, so I had a few $1/2 Qs from contacting the company to double to get a few more free. Love this stuff, hope they continue to carry it but the clearance is not a good sign...
Also got a Cat alert for Crystal Light 9/6 through 9/29 (canisters or 10ct on the go):
Buy 3 get $1.50 Buy 4 get $2.50 Buy 5 or more get $4
Checked prices and a few canisters and on the go 10cts were 2/$4 - pomegranate flavor maybe? I'm hoping maybe we'll get a sale on all flavors with the next circular cycle, here's hoping!

They also have a great cheese platter for $10-$15. All ready to go. Great for bringing to a party.
