www.chicagotribune.com/news/os-shorter-receipts-cvs-082713,0,2620366.post Say goodbye to the days of being able to play jump rope with your extra long CVS receipts. The company announced on its Facebook page Friday that in coming weeks customers will start receiving normal-sized receipts but still get to keep all the savings, which will now be sent digitally to their ExtraCare savings card. "Over the past few days we’ve been listening to you (and we’ve also seen the very creative uses for your receipts)! You asked for ALL the savings and LESS paper," CVS Chief Marketing Officer Rob Price wrote on Facebook. "So, we’ve found a way to reduce the size of the ExtraCare portion of your receipts by 25% while still providing you all the coupons and rewards" This comes just two days after the Huffington Post published an article highlighting a new Twitter account: @cvs_Receipt. The parody account features photos of CVS shoppers posing with their lengthy receipts. Some of the more notable pictures include adults showcasing receipts that are longer than they are tall, and others showing feet of paper simply for purchasing one item. The new receipts won't be as easy to poke fun at, but they are expected to be better for the environment and more convenient for shoppers.

Ummmm, that probably is not good for using "expired" ecb and coupons.
If loaded on the card, once its's gone, it's gone.
Unless the stuff doesn't expire....that would be even better!
And how do you keep track of expiration dates on a card?
We'll have to wait and see....

I wonder how much is going to be loaded onto the cards. If the X/XX are going to be loaded...you can't use them a Jewel anymore. I don't think I am going to like this. I like so see what is in front of me....If I have to go to the website and check what is on my cards I'm going to miss out. I'm bad at checking.

No -- not gonna like this one bit. One of my stores lets me use expired ecb's no matter how old.
