I just got back from visiting relatives in Texas. While I was there, I stopped by Kohl's since I had a $5/$5 and a 30% off. When I checked out the cashier asked if I was signed up for a Kohl's Rewards card. I said "no" and asked her more about it. It is a points system that is being piloted in certain markets. I just happened upon it and so I now have a Rewards card. It gives you a point for every dollar spent when have it scanned when you make a purchase. When you reach 100 points, you get a $5/$5 coupon. The brochure also states "8 savings offers every year" plus a birthday offer too. Has anyone else run into this program in Illinois yet?

Nope, Illinois is not a test market. We are a heavily saturated Kohl's credit card market and they want to test this program where there is less credit and see if it builds loyalty.

If you do have a rewards card you earn double points on a single purchase between Fiday July 12 and Sunday July 21.
