I’m heading over to Mariano’s after work today to get some stuff in my fridge after being gone, will update with any good deals I find! What looks good to you? Please post any good deals you find in-store! How it works: -$25 minimum purchase (seems to be based on regular/shelf prices, not sale prices!) -first 5 coupons (with value of $1 or less) are doubled, so hand over your doublers first! -any additional coupons are deducted from your order at face value

I used the $1/1 ekrich sausage IP for .50c sausage & then some meat wine tags on ground sausage (price went up to 3.33/lb from 2.99/lb ) and on lunch meat, which is really expensive lately!

I have a question- do the q's automatically double or does the cashier have to do something? I ask because last week my regular price total was over $25, but my sale price was only $20ish & they did not double. Today my total was over $25 and they still didn't double. Maybe because I used wine tags? But even my IP didn't double. The cashier manually took another $5 off.

They should automatically double, but I haven't shopped at Mariano's in a month or so - does anyone know if they changed the registers in the past month or so?

That's what I thought, too. If no one knows, I think I will ask the MUM readers.

I just made a trip - my regular and sale price were over $25 today and my coupons doubled automatically per usual. If they say "Do Not Double" and are coded with a 9 they will not double. Maybe that was the issue? If you have a smartphone, there's a free app called Double Coupon Checker that you can use to scan the coupon bar code (even the new GS1 barcodes) and it will tell you if it's coded to double or not. I had to get some staples today to restock the fridge - got the Organic Girl salad, and the regular Thomas' English Muffins were on sale for $2 so I doubled a $0.55/1 from the 10/19 SS (which said "Do Not Double" but must not have been coded that way since it doubled automatically) so those turned out to be $0.90 so a good deal! I got some produce, burned a free Q, and got to $25 somehow

None of mine said DND, but they could have been coded that way. I guess I'll just have to watch.
Thanks, Beth!

Not sure if you had more than 5 coupons - but they only double the first five that are scanned. If you have a DND or value over $1 - give those last.
