That too.
This might be the right place to say I always try to pull through a parking spot into the next spot so I don't have to put my car in reverse when I leave. Over time it's less wear & tear on the transmission and in my car, the clutch. I may overthink things.
I must be overthinking too because it makes a lot of sense to me!! I kinda felt it was a duh moment and something I must begin. I think I'd probably love your car.

Not very well, unfortunately. It is really only good for high volume. You'd use up the reward, whether you buy 1 gallon or 20. Therefore, the benefit is lower if you buy less gas. Perhaps take both cars, try to park in a way to move from one to the other? I dont know how well that works. We have an SUV now and it can use almost 20 if its very empty. So..... I might do this, to fill it up one of the 2 times a month we generally fill. Worth it to save about $40-50, depending on how much gas costs, etc. Not sure if I'd be approved for the card.... might have too many apps over last 18 months. You don't need a new card, you can link any Master Card to your FRN card. If you link an existing Mastercard to FRN, you'll get $.25 off per gallon per $100 spent at Jewel? I thought it was only for the Fuel Rewards Network Mastercard.... will have to read and try to figure it out, but seemed like a unique reward for this particular card?

Shell has a rewards card that is NOT a CC that you can use to get $.03 off at the pump every time. So does BP. So does Road Ranger. So does Flying J. In my spare time I've been working on getting one card from each program to keep in each car and each wallet. Anyone know of other gas discount cards that don't require a CC? I use my Discover or USAA CCs to buy gas and get 5% back -- it's better than any gas station rewards CCs. Speedway has a card that you earn points when you use it. You can then use the points for food/drinks or discounts on gas. Kmart also has a promo with Speedway, spend $50 (at Kmart (gift card purchases were eligible)) get 30¢ off per gallon (don't remember max # of gallons) and you could use multiple (2 Cats 60¢, 3 Cats 90¢, etc.) ***disclaimers*** 1)Promotion had a long run-thru date, but has been running a long time, may be over. 2)Even "FREE" gift cards from prescription transfer counted towards $50 spend, I transferred two prescriptions and got (2) $30 gift cards and 30¢ off per gallon because I "bought" $60 in gift cards.

I always forget about the Kmart promo-largely because I rarely shop there & I NEVER spend $50 there LOL

Thanks for all the input reporter. I was going to come back and elaborate more on it....and yes it is exclusive to obtaining the FRN mastercard. Any linked mastercard will get you money off gas but this one gives you more if you are a first timer.

I've often thought about getting this one but I am sticking to the Southwest rewards card. Marriott if also offering me like 80,000 points if I open a card. I might bite on that one. All that MS makes my head spin that's for sure. Someone really needs to dummy it down for me. LOL So then what would you do with the money orders? Pay bills? I see the lines at WM when I am in there working and they are really crazy. Not sure I want to wait in them. I know there is a whole crazy MS world out there. LOL There certainly is! I am just starting to learn about it. Changes come and go quickly but I still think it is worth it on the scale that I would do..... and like reporter said gift cards have to be pin based. I'm waiting for my card to come and I will report back on how it is working out for me....so I guess that this would interest people that have a vehicle with a large gas tank.

Sorry, a linked card will get you 3¢ per gallon per $100 spent but they do occasionally run limited-time promotions that rewards higher.
