I'm making Panera copycat Broccoli Cheese Soup for dinner tonight and I'd love to make some bread bowls with it. I've made some before but they were okay, not great. Not quite dense enough.
Anyone have a recipe that they've actually tried and been successful with?

I have used this recipe once before & it was really good. My problem is I am not good at bread, so usually I buy it. Now that I have a bread machine I've had better luck- maybe I'll try this again.... Let us know how the copy cat soup is! Panera does sell the bowls, but they are expensive. I think $2.50 each last time I bought them there.

SOup in a bread bowl sounds divine right now. I am freezing my TAIL off at work! Better yet, just gimme the soup so I can soak my hands & nose in it!
