Marinated chicken breast were on sale for $3.49/lb on Sunday. I had them grill it there while I finished my shopping. Made greek chicken sandwiches to bring to Ravinia that night. They were a big hit with little effort on my part!

That's a great idea! We like their breaded chicken breasts a lot- had them last night! Who did you see at Ravinia? Hall and Oats..... Can I say they looked old? ? They started promptly at 7 and ended exactly at 8:30 - no opener. I am kind of boycotting Ravinia because their price for lawn is outrageous. The chicken was delish and I got many compliments. Six chicken breasts made 14 sandwiches.

LOL! They probably are old. We've never been to Ravinia. We had tickets once, but softball interfered. I did notice this year that the prices seemed high! I was thinking we would definitely make it there this year, but it seemed expensive, it's still kind of far, and there are so many free concerts at Millenium I figured we'd try that.
I will have to try the marinated breasts. Having them grill while you shop is a great idea!

I don't remember the price for those tickets, but I wanted to see Carrie Underwood and it was $55.00 for lawn! It is too stressful to go with a large group. It is so crowded and getting a decent place to sit is a race.

Beth - check the bottom of the Driscoll blueberries before you buy them, I bought 4 last Wednesday at Mariano's and when I came home to enter the codes for the survey there was no stickers with the codes on any of the four. Bummed because I rotate those 4 coupons.

Bummed because I rotate those 4 coupons. Yeah, when I bought the blueberries a few weeks ago some had nothing, but some had a printed code on the front on the plastic (not a sticker) which I was able to enter in the Driscolls survey. Maybe one of your packs has that too? The coupon link they send you for each survey works for two prints each - go forth and multiply

If you have the $3.25 Alexia Qs from the Alexia settlement, you can use them at Mariano's to up your total on double coupon days. Prices at the Harwood Heights store were $2.99 for the sweet potatoes and $3.39 for the Yukon gold, rosemary&garlic and one other variety. I got 6 bags of fries for $.14 each, milk, orange juice and produce, and used the double "spots" to get Driscoll's blueberries ($2.50 and I had $1/1 IPs) and Philly garden veggie cheese spread ($2.49 and I had $1/1 IPs). The Alexia Qs scanned beautifully, so no drama at the register Also Delizza patisserie is on sale $4.50/box - you can use the $1/1 IPs if you have them and get Delizza for $2.50 ea. I'll bring the Delizza Qs with me next time.
