There were a couple of other meats I wanted, but by the time I got there they only had huge packs left. Not sure what I'd do with 6lb of pork loin. So even at $1.69 lb it isn't a deal if I have to throw half of it out. You could cut it in half and repackage it. I'd need to cut it into quarters - it was huge! Next time I'll be prepared for the monster packs and have the next day free to deal with them. As it it I'm going to have to cook all of the chicken - it was previously frozen and half defrosted and repackage the ground beef. But yeah, if you know in advance you have some work to do, then definitely buy some of each.

I didn't think the meat prices were all that great. $2.46 a lb for ground chuck 80%, I have seen better. Some of the steaks seemed good, but you had to buy in mongo packs and I overheard another shopper say, "I am not buying that, they go on sale for that price all the time and I can buy them singly them." I didn't know about the EE bacon price. Shoot, I would have stocked up on that!! I felt the same way. Imfo, wish I had seen the bacon prices, but when I went it was so crowded, I just left. Since ultra just did a sale, now valli, hoping another store will follow, suit
