I just got back from Walmart, where I matched a bunch of things ... 12/$1 limes from Meijer 3/$1 avocados from Meijer .50 peaches from Food4Less .88 eggs from Kmart $1.99 Nutella from Brookhaven .99 on the vine tomatoes from Jewel I was thinking, since I do a lot of my shopping now via price matching at WM, that it might be helpful to start a weekly list of good deals to PM... since not all of us look at ALL the ads, we're bound to miss something ... and with the ability to print any ad online, it doesn't matter if you get one delivered or not Realizing that not all ads cover the same days, it wouldn't be perfect, but a good guideline ... would anyone else find this useful ?

I think this would be a great idea. I honestly haven't really done price matching at WM, but looks like I need to start. What a great way to take advantage of multiple deals and not be driving all over creation.

I agree with lookin4deals, I dont pricematch much but I need to start! the deals are far and few between and I am tired of driving everywhere to get something here and something there!! Are the pricematch rules the same at target? Would the thread be for both stores and/or are their other stores that do the same? Thanks

I've only price matched at Target once or twice... it seemed like there were SO many rules and exceptions ... like no store that has a royalty card, it has to be a single item price; i don't think 2 for $4 is accepted DUH... ridiculous stuff like that , plus the CS peeps at mine are evilllllll.... price matching at WM has been a breeeeeeze... I guess if you have good luck at your Target, the thread should work for both I'm hoping to look at the ads tonight and start a thread for this coming week... obviously, any other threads out there with super price deals are great to go to for PM ideas also,... but i think we might find other great PM deals to share too... deals that don't have their own thread and of course, we aren't all looking for the same thing... me... I'm ALWAYS looking for limes and avocados well, and of course, sugar and flour... but those already have a thread

Mary do you bring in the ads with you? I'm trying to come up with a way to make the PM easy on cashier and myself. Can you share your system?

Yep, I bring the ads with me,...
with the item i'm matching circled so it's easier for me to find quickly.. nnd easier for the cashier to see quickly.
I see which items are up next on the belt and show the cashier the right ad... that's about as organized as I can get it LOL

I hate shopping so my mind would say, "price match every deal in a 20 mile radius, so you don't have to shop again for a very long time." I price matched a very long time ago....I circled things and could not find them right away. Cashier got nasty, people in line got nasty...this was the Crestwood store. I DO NOT LIKE THE CRESTWOOD STORE!
