I see the subscribe and save that Amazon offers and am wondering if anyone uses it and of course, if it's really a good deal.
If it's stuff you normally buy and know the price, I see how you can figure that out, but I can't.
I keep looking at it and wondering what the catch is, if you know what I mean.
Does anyone use it and can you give me the scoop?
Thanks!

I use it sometimes to get a better deal. As soon as my order comes, I go back into Amazon and delete the subscribe and save because the price may change more than I would like when they ship again....does that make sense?

What Swale said...sometimes the prices are as good as a decent sale...sometimes I am just lazy!

Thanks all. I find I'm running out of stuff more than I used to since the stockpile deals have dried up. I find that even if I have to pay for delivery at times, it still is a savings since I know I would buy more junk if I went to the store!

if you are going to do more than a bit of shopping on amazon, prime at $79 a year has been totally worth it to me

With Amazon Prime, is shipping free with anything you order? Or is it like you don't have to get to the $25 mark for free super saver shipping, and other items never qualify for free shipping?

Anything shipped from Amazon is free shipping, basically those items you used to have to get to $25 with.

Prime shipping is also 2 day shipping rather than the slow supper saver shipping.

I'm currently adding things to my Amazon wish list that are subscribe and save. If you get 5 on a single shipment then you get a 20% discount (I think this is in lieu of the 5% discount).
They are mainly things for DS5 and his restricted diet. Basically junk food, but it seems like the cost will be similar to buying it in the store and then I'm not having to run around to so many stores. We I get my five I'll report back on the store cost, the amazon cost, the S&S cost and the buy 5 S&S cost. May help you figure out how this works and if it is a deal.

The 20% is if you have Amazon Mom/Prime -- otherwise it's 15% if you have five S&S arriving on the same day.
