The other day my card wouldn't scan at the checkout. I asked the cashier about it who said "Oh it's ok, we can scan it for you". Then I asked about the problem at the pump and got a "Oh. You need to get a new card" reply. Then he gave me the brochure and a new card. I asked about the balance on my card that didn't work and how it transfers.
He said that I had to fill out the form, send it in and then THEY would transfer my balance. He wasn't sure who they was and he said I couldn't do it at the customer service desk.
The worst part was that the cashier really didn't care about my questions!
Anyone else gone through this? How did you get it fixed? Honestly, I don't go there much any more, but with the discount at the pump I want to squeeze every penny out of them.

you have to call the number on the j4u page and i believe they can fix it for you
they fixed it for me, but i can only use my phone number. the scanny card doesnt work

You can just type it in on the keypad -- mine won't scan at the pump either.

i never use my card, but have had trouble using my phone number...
more than once, the screen has said "no such number" or some kinda error, i forgot what...
so i go to another register and it works fine
