www.mashupmom.com/jewel-coupon-policy-summer-2014-update/Some of you have mentioned being shown a new Jewel coupon policy in stores recently. Well, the new Summer 2014 Jewel coupon policy is now up on their website, and some of the changes look double plus ungood for us. Here are specific changes I noticed:
- Jewel-Osco does not accept ANY coupons issued by another retailer.
- Coupons with the verbiage “Redeemable only at” or “Redeemable at…” [Competitor name]: CANNOT be redeemed at Jewel-Osco.
- For all coupons, follow limitations on quantities or the number of purchases per customer.
The part about not taking coupons with the "redeemable at" verbiage is especially unfortunate, because a lot of the coupons on Coupons.com now have Walmart verbiage on them. It also will prevent us from redeeming many of the nice manufacturer coupons printed in other stores' ads. (For those of you that appreciate irony, Jewel also hosts Coupons dot com coupons on its own site, meaning that you can now print a number of coupons on their site ... that you will not be able to redeem in their stores.)
