Smokin' deals on Shout Color Catchers are hard to come by.
Right now in the dollar section at Target, there are boxes of 12 sheets for $3.
There is 20% off Dollar Spot on Cartwheel x2/8
and $.75 off 1 Shout item TQ in 1/19 SS x2/2
It ends up being $1.65 for the 12 pack.

I have found that I can easily cut these in half and they still work thus stretching the box even further. Anyone else find the same?

OH and I used them for those FISHING MM purple washcloths from Menards. I love purple, but those darn washcloths bled for the first 3 washes or so. in cold water, too!

I use these for every load of clothes and I have found I can get 2-3 uses out of each CC. Never thought to cut them in half.

It has worked for me for a few years now...sometimes I even cut them in thirds...just to be safe maybe test on something dumb first and then trust your better stuff?

whenever I question or think a load is going to bleed I add about 3/4-1 cup vinegar

Interesting Lisa, I have never heard of the vinegar method. Does it actually work? I love the color catchers because I often have clothes that bleed and hate worrying about it. I've totally turned socks from white to pink. Still I don't use them for EVERY wash but do use them a few times a wk. easily.
