Ok, I'm a little behind and just putting away ornaments now. Every year we get at least 4 more ornaments, usually 6-8. None of them are ball shaped, they are all unique shapes and sizes. How do you store those? I have a box with the little dividers that I put in the ones that fit there, but since I'm getting more of the odd shaped ones, I'm at a loss how to keep all them together. The delicate ones usually come in their own box that I save, but this year we got a few candy canes, glittery snowflakes and some bells like from Polar Express.
Please share how you keep all this together!
Thanks! Mary

Wrap in tissue, put them all in Rubbermaid bins.
The handmade ones get stored in empty, clean formula containers in my upstairs craft room. High on a shelf, way way above the water table. Just in case of a massive flood of biblical proportions ;-)

I buy the clear Rubbermaid container, wrap in tissue and then put them in a Rubbermaid tote. I also have used popcorn tins or other decorative items, wrapped in tissue and placed in there, to double up on space. My really delicate ones I write on the outside of the container, fragile, or special ornaments etc,

bad mom/person here
I have a shallow bin ( like a wrapping paper flat bin) that has 2 layers they sit in there--no tissue
I used to store the majority of them in a few american girl doll boxes that I had ( over sized show boxes basically)

Ones that came in their own box, go back in that box. The others, though, just get wrapped up in something. I don't 'line' the bottom of the bin or anything. And depending on the space I have, they may go in a bin with other non-ornament stuff. I'm the only one in my household, so I unwrap/wrap all myself.

We decorate the tree as a family. I don't keep the boxes for most individual ornaments. It wastes space and we have a lot of ornaments.

I bought these SnapWare containers one year. Either at Joann or HD, I can't remember. I like them because the cardboard inserts come out/bed so I can fit odd shaped ornaments. I also like them because my kids have different numbers of ornaments so I can add levels to it when they need more space.

We are old school here and wrap them in regular boxes and then stack them on top of each other in a storage bin. Not the best but not the worst either!
