The Woodstock store got some cute new stuff in this morning. I never thought I'd say this about Sears clothing outlet, but I had a difficult time deciding what to get for my free item. Cute dresses for little girls with matching cardigans, sundresses, play outfits. Tons of fleece Christmas sleepers for babies. If you don't have a use for kids clothes yourself, you could still pick something up for the Christmastime giving trees we see at church and the post office.
An associate told me that inventory will be thinning out at this location because it's closing in January. The Harley-Davidson dealership across the street has bought the property.
I've heard Sears is shopping their Crystal Lake Sears location too.

That's a great idea. I wish I had a store close by so that I could collect for a giving tree.

They'll run this offer again next Tuesday (10/15). I've been getting some really nice stuff for my niece.

Back on for 10/15. I think I'm going to start going again to get clothes for the Adopt a Kid at DDs HS. Every year they seem like they need more and more clothes.

I actually hadn't been in there for a long time, since it was kmart, back in the early days of kmart double coupons when they gave away the store.
I guess the habitat for humanity restore is going to have to close or move, also, since they're in the same building. I've not been in there yet. I wonder if they will liquidate, and how, or if they move their merchandise to another location.

I can't go today. Good thing they're doing it again next Tuesday (10/22).

I went and got a shirt for an older boy. Last year the Adopt a Kid had a lot of requests for boys so I thought in Kathy's memory I would go every week and make a package for a child or two.

I haven't even been in the habitat store yet. I hope they don't close it altogether. I think it would be good for peeps in our community. That is a bummer! Thanks for the info Lucky.

Thanks. After reading how wonderful Kathy was I was inspired to be more giving. She did take great care of "her" boys. I still can't believe she is gone. I mean I believe it, but... you know. I got a cute sundress today in size 4 since I already have enough dresses for her for next summer (thank you Sears outlet!). But the way Kermetta is growing, the size 4 might just fit her next summer. The size 12 months sleeper I just put on her is almost too small. I bought 18 months stuff for her recently, thinking it would be huge, but it fits... she is only 8 months! I texted DH to swing by and pick up a certain dress I left in a certain location. We'll see if he comes home with the right item.....

I left an 18 month dress on the size 10 rack. Shockingly, he did manage to find it.
