I've been lucky with most of my pins and only had a few duds. And I've made quite a few things lol. One of my all time favorites is Chobani Mac n Cheese with bacon. :-)
I've been making breads lately as well which has turned out nicely. Baguettes, pita, etc.

I made a fontina dip to go with it that's also amazing. :-). Did you use bread flour when you attempted yours?

Yes I use bread flour. Maybe I am a big dummy but....
If I use my bread machine & use the French bread cycle do I let it rise in the machine? I let it rise in the machine and then put on pan, covered and let rise again a hour. I end up with a big mushy pile. Am I rising it too much.
I told you I am a big dummy.

I will try your recipe next week. I will lug the Kitchenaid up and see it I have better results than my stupid bread machine.

I actually don't have a bread machine so I wouldn't have a clue. Even though your dough ended up mushy, did it still rise and do you typically use instant yeast or active? I tend to yield better results if I use instant regardless of what the recipe calls for but my sister does the opposite bc she can't get her dough to rise when she uses instant for some reason.
I definitely recommend pulling out the kitchenaid though.. does most of the work for you, I use mine all the time =).

DD15 just made this card for DH & her dad. (This is Pinterest image, I can't figure out how to work my new computer's photo section. ) They turned out cute. Not sure how I got roped into buying candy for my ExH, but I'm too tired to demand reimbursement. Couldn't find small bags of Whoppers or the Now&Later, but it still made sense & turned out cute.

Nah. You just use the railing as stairs.

I so wish I had stairs, I would do this with the kids When I was a kid, I used to take the bolster from my bed and use it to ride down the stairs.
