Not sure where to post this. I joined here because a girl I worked with over the summer was a couponer. She was the one who told me about this site, and I've been reading as a guest for quite a while. That same girl sells the stuff she gets to the people she works with and I have had many people I work at my new job with ask about buying the stuff I get now. How do you determine a price for an item? Like I don't want to charge them too much but don't want to be losing potential money either. Just looking for some tips on this. Ps sorry if I posted in the wrong forum

I sell most products at Walmart retail price at garage sales. When I sell in the neighborhood, I sell at 60-75% of Walmart retail, depending on who it is, and what I actually paid.
Some things I get more than I paid. There was a 2L pop deal that was a moneymaker, the very same pop was on sale at the store for 79c, and I sold dozens (a hundred?) bottles to a guy from Craigslist for $1 apiece.
It depends on the product. You have to take your time and opportunity costs into account to not lose $.
