How old can the ad be? I'm still wanting more .88 cent peanut butter and still have the Ultra ad.

Today's transaction: (4) Colgate mouthwash, PriceMatched and a MoneyMaker, tq to MUM for the info (2) Italian breads PM (1) salt (20) limes PM (2) flour PM (10) Rachel Ray dog food , a MM, tq to feelgood for the info Total for all was $1.20 I planned to be close to .50, but didn't realize the Colgate q's had the "4 Like" coupons wording on them, so had to take 4 off my order... apparently, I had the only cashier that didn't know that WM allows overage... she was quite flummoxed when she realized that I had just PM'd the mouthwash to $1.88, but my q's were for $2.... and THEN when we got to the dog food q's ... O M GOSH... she went and got the perky cute young CS lady, who pointed out that I would have to do 10 separate transactions because the coupon said "One per Purchase" ummm wow,... i haven't had to have THAT conversation with anyone in a long long time... i tried to explain the difference between purchase and transaction but she was having none of it... all those other transactions where i've used more than one coupon and was "allowed" to... those were all done wrong... she was right... they were all wrong... she let me do it "this one time" but never again The cashier was extremely grateful that she had consulted with the cute little CS lady, because otherwise she's sure she would have been fired... PULEASSSSSSSSSEEEEEEE I plan to mention the purchase vs transaction story with the 2 wonderful other CS ladies, who KNOW what they're doing... someone needs to tell Michelle

i googled around ... found and printed a copy of this article... SAME issue... even SAME coupon ...... left it at the CS desk for Michelle www.examiner.com/article/the-happy-couponer-takes-walmart-supervisor-to-task-over-corporate-coupon-policy"........According to Crowe, based on Walmart's posted coupon policy, she should have been able to purchase 100 tubs of dog food, redeem all 100 coupons, and walk out of the store with approximately $62 in cash. But, thanks to a Walmart cashier and her supervisor, who hadn't been educated on the coupon policy, that's not how it worked out. “Looking back, it was like one of those Abbott and Costello bits. The cashier thought the coupons were scanning wrong so she called her supervisor, Chuck. Chuck knew they were scanning right but he didn't want to give us the overage in cash, so he kept insisting that 'one coupon per purchase' meant 'one coupon per transaction' and I kept telling him, 'If it meant one coupon per transaction it would say that instead of 'one coupon per purchase.' He kept saying, 'This is what it says but this is what it really means' and I kept telling him 'It means exactly what it says!' In the end, Crowe left the store empty-handed. The next day she called the store manager, Nick Pagliano, and explained what happened. Pagliano immediately chimed in with, “Chuck was wrong!” Pagliano told Crowe to come in anytime with her coupons and he'd make sure his employees understood the corporate policy........." LOL... and i was only trying to use TEN coupons yesterday and didn't expect any money back ! btw, I used 6 more today with no problem

I bought 11 yesterday. I can't believe anyone would pay 1.88 for these! Anyway bought chicken breasts with the overage. Cashier only said that the dogfood wasn't what was on the picture but when I said that it said ANY he pushed them thru. Then I bought Sheba for the cats at Target today. My pets are gonna think we hit the lottery!
