aalright someone help me. Went to two stores tonight, both had stock. Both could not get the coupon to work, not that they wouldn't take it, but the register said something like 'coupon or coupon amount exceeds amount that can be taken'
neither store knew what to do. One store politely said they couldn't take it and i would have to call the manager in the morning. the other said that i would have to do seperate transactions, but then decided it still wouldn't work and then a bunch of drama happened.
so how did you get your store to enter the coupon??

They had to enter $1 three times for the coupon amount. The Mgr showed the cashier in front of me.

Isn't this like the canned vegetables - ring up three, ring up coupon, ring up three, ring up coupon, repeat
You can't ring up everything and then use the coupons end the end.

no because dollar tree manually types in all the coupons. So when they type in $3 the register says 'no sorry everything in the store is $1 we can only take $1 off at a time.
side note i went to ANOTHER dollar tree where the young cashier was overly friendly said it was a great deal. She had to call the manager over who said just to manually put in $1 6 times and i got my 6 bxes of free bandaids~
