I'm really unhappy with S&S right now. Rachel - I had no idea until you posted that prices wern't locked in on your first purchase when you ordered - That seems really crappy to me! I can understand later orders changing price if you keep the subscription up but not the first order.

I know right? Rachel posted on MUM a conversation she had with Amazon CS - turns out the price you buy for can change by the time the item ships! I don't really know if I ever missed a price change because I didn't look that closely once I placed the order. I usually cancel after the first subscription so I wasn't worried about it. They charge you the "current price" at the time of shipment!!

Yeah -- I never realized they could change the first one either since it has never happened to me, until a couple of people reported that theirs had changed. Chatting with the overseas reps is like pulling teeth trying to get a straight answer, but that's what it looks like.
