From WUC/Didie:
This question has already been asked twice tonight - Can the $5/2 Clairol product coupon that is in the P&G 7/7 inserts be used on the Herbal Essences??
While HE is made by Clairol, the coupon is NOT intended to be used for shampoo/conditioner/stylers.
The coupon is intended for the hair color only (and is pictured on the coupon). P&G has coupons specifically for Herbal Essences (a $1/2 is in the same insert)
Thanks!

Yes - it's another poorly worded coupon by P&G You'd think they would have learned by now, wouldn't you?
We are asking our members not to use the $5 / 2 coupon for anything other than the hair dye. WUC promotes ethical couponing, and using this coupon for anything other than what the company has indicated wouldn't be in the spirit of the intended use.
However, we do recognize that this coupon is open to interpretation, and could be YMMV. If your moral compass allows you to use this coupon for something other than what P&G has indicated - ok.
With our new YMMV policy and because the wording on the coupon is clearly poor, we would ask that if you do use this coupon for HE or anything else Clairol and decide to post your trip, your post clearly indicates "YMMV"
WUC will not be posting any scenarios or trip suggestions using this coupon for anything other than hair dye.
See how the other half lives?

The HE is $2.50 at Dollar General also but the coupon will beep a UPC no match. YMMV.

Not to be the killjoy about pricematching at Target- they will not pricematch deals that require loyalty cards: Walgreens, CVS, Jewel, etc. Pricematching occurs only at guest services at Target. Nezz just posted in the target thread that they were $2.49 no PM needed after all Thanks Icoupon! It will be worth it to go to Target for the free. I am thinking "here we go again...." on the penny argument at Target and how people aren't supposed to get stuff "free"... I am up for the argument! I don't care about the penny, adjust the coupon down a penny and let me out of the store.

I know lots of peeps that abuse p&g coupons at Target. Especially them. We have these "spirited" discussions at work about using coupons in the spirit it was meant. We always break up walking away stating "see you in coupon hell !"

I just tried got shot down by the little old man at the register (no other cashier available) and told him he could keep it all. Oh I got some Pantene and the coupon for the BOGOF scanned in at $4.99. I left that behind too because this little old man was all sorts of nervous and had issues with my coupon. UGH Oh and the magic coupon machine was spitting out $1 off over $3 of a hair product coupon too. Wish the CVS stores had more staff so you could profile cashiers. I am going to Target for the coupon argument.

I posted on the Jewel thread when I noticed it in the sale papers I was about to put into recycling.
Do they look at the coupons at the self-checkout at Jewel?
