My friend went to Doms in Buffalo Grove yesterday. She said it was quiet with loads of stuff. NOT crazy like before.

OK, so I caved and I went. I went to the Aurora one. It was pretty bare. It is amazing how much damage was done in ONE day. Absolutely no diapers, wipes, detergent, or dishwashing stuff left. Also not one single thing of yogurt left. That was a bummer!!
I did manage to get 72 protein bars for tax though so that was good. Was also able to get a few HBA products for free or cheap. Not the banner trip like I had a few weeks ago, but I will take it.

I couldn't buy last time cuz they didn't have any by the time I got there! LOL And 'continue my eat down' - LMAO! I should do that, too! Haha that does sound pretty funny. That is actually what I call my efforts to eat up what is in the freezers. I keep thinking of everything we can eat for every meal to get those things some room. I have an over abundance of Edy fruit bars so I am now throwing them in smoothies.....they are made from 100% fruit juice so I figure it is healthy. LOL What do you put in your smoothies?

whatever eddy's bars I got. I have a bunch of frozen blueberries from last summer and strawberries. I also throw in chia seeds and flax seeds. also throw in whatever fresh fruit I have like bananas, strawberries, blueberries, and apple. those have been what seem cheap right now. I stay away from blackberries as they are too seedy.

So sad. I drove past the Palos Dominicks today and they were removing the signs. I will miss Dominicks.

Thanks! there might be some in the aisle where they should be, but there was a large separate shelf of them at the end of the HBA aisle. Now that I think about it, there were some more pure protein bars on that shelf too, but they were the ones that were 1.25 each as opposed to .99 each. So be sure to look for this additional shelf display if you don't see them in the aisle.

Does anyone know when 75% off is happening? Trying to talk DH into going. I got him a bunch of protein shakes. I never thought he would like them but he did and now they are all gone.

I have reports that Aurora is still 50% -- but meat went 50% today and liquor 30%. Dairy still not included.

May hit up Westchester tomorrow-just to peek at what might be left... Did you go? I did- I was actually about to come on here to report! Not much left. What I saw: Philly cream cheese, bricks & tubs. A TON of it. Kraft shredded cheese - also a ton Cracker Barrel chunks Ice cream- looked like mostly Lucerne or Safeway Salad dressing- kens & Safeway Betty Crocker cake mixes Hellmanns mayo LOTS AND LOTS of candy Wine Frozen meals- mostly Safeway brand Deli cheeses Boca chicken patties Nature made vitamins Colgate toothpaste- the regular stuff Cards Random hba stuff- Pantene, Garnier, hair dye Tons of Balance bars (4/$5), protein bars, etc - in 2 spots in the store I didn't buy anything. I was gonna get some cream cheese but ran into future mil & she said she had a ton that I could have. There was other random stuff- that's just what I noticed there was a larger quantity of.
