I saw an employee bring out a pallet full from the back, he stopped in the aisle and people swarmed and took almost everything. There were various things like pet supplies and cleaning supplies. People throwing cases in their carts.

People throwing cases in their carts. Same thing happened when the H & B stuff got rolled out the employees didn't even have to be bothered by putting it on the shelves.

ahh bummer. They were very well stocked (well sort of) this morning. I got lots of meat, cheese, eggs, milk, canned goods and MM Campbell soups. I think every store just ended up with random merchandise. My store had no eggs, butter, some milk. Wasn't much meat in the cases but I noticed people must have been stalking the butcher because they had meat in their carts. I was alone and was more interested in other stuff. My mom was upset that I wasn't all over the meat deals. Some of it was good...like I got 80% grnd beef for $1.50 a lb which I haven't seen in a LONG time. Other stuff, was still the overpriced DOMs.

for those of you been getting up and going religiously every morning this week do you think its worth me getting out of bed that early on a Saturday tomorrow? there are no kids home and I could potentially sleep in a little bit I'm in agony from falling down the stairs but if you think there's a chance they could be restocked again with things like coffee then I would contemplate going

I'm sorry you fell. What is it around here lately? It seems like everyone is sick, or has sick kids, or is falling on ice or down stairs.

wewsrw - I went back to Western Springs again, & one of the cashiers told me that it could type in my phone number on the pin pad for my fresh values card, so I could use *my* card. Just FYI if you go again. It probly depends on your cashier.

McCormick spices are b2g1 free- which I wish I would have known in the aisle! I stocked up on some random ones to fill my spice collection-things I know I won't use a lot of but I'm sure I will someday need. Cloves were the most expensive - $11.99 for whole & $9.69 for ground. Everything else was about $7 or under. There's a $0.50/1 insert coupon out.
