Kathy, I don't get separate gym shoes for DS #4. He just wears gym shoes to school every day and then has those.
Is there a reason you get separate ones? My school doesn't say anything, so I don't get the second pair.

It is on our school supply list. I use to only get one pair with our other school (same district) and this one was very picky about having separate gym shoes. They want to keep the gym floor clean, so they have inside gym and outside gym shoes. Outside you wear your everyday ones, They also like it because so many times kids forget to wear gym shoes. You wouldn't have this problem as it is mostly the girls--they wear their shiny new shoes, or they wear their good church shoes, sandals etc--then they can't do gym. I use to try and buy cheap shoes thinking it was a good idea--but then I found out how bad it was for their feet, and how hard it was on them to keep up. I don't want my child to feel bad when they are checking in school supplies and they keep sending notes home--need shoes for gym etc. (they did this all the time)

I have never gotten the second pair and I've never gotten a note. It must be your school. Even the high school doesn't say anything. One of my kids takes extra shoes and the other one won't do it. He says he can't remember his gym locker combo, so he carries his gym clothes with him every day. At least he has them.

I didn't mind as the shoes were a good price--considering I couldn't buy cheap shoes for that! I think with all the clothes and the shoes it was 10 an item---They did have some N on sale for cheaper--but he didn't like them--they too were a quality brand. When they were in K and their feet were growing like hot cakes--I would buy the jumping beans or Kmart--and they never lasted--they busted through them--so paying for the name brand works. Daniel still has his gym shoes from last year--in MINT condition--I told him if they fit--he can use these at the beginning of the year for his outside shoes--but I do think his feet have grown (Daniel has such tiny feet!! I should be glad--many of his friends have to buy in the mens department--or upper sizes!!)

They do make a big deal of it at Sandburg too--once a teacher told me I had to go get them--though I know they can't make you get them-but you don't want your child made to feel bad (which is what happened to one of mine). They kept sending notes home--you still need etc. I was happy to get the ones I got for what I thought was a good price. I am fighting the urge to go look at more shirts for ds. Though in his size there really weren't that many--it is just killing me to not take advantage of all the discounts!!

I got the $10/30 Kohl's Q at Staples today too. I did 3 transactions and got the Q on the first and third ones. The nice man behind me then gave me his too. The transaction I didn't get the Q on was for the .25 mechanical pencils. I did another one right after that also with just the pencils and got the Q.

These are the coupons I know that are available right now: $5 email Q's $10 email Q's (I signed up 2 new email accounts in my local Kohl's last weekend and confirmed my accounts so I should be getting 2 of these soon) $5 Kohl's Rewards Q ettucoupon.com/thread/619/kohls-rewards-sign?page=1&scrollTo=7526$10/30 Kohl's (available at the bottom of your Staples receipt this week (I got a couple today that expire 9/23.) $10/25 Kids apparel (FB Q - there's a link somewhere here if you look around) $10/30 bras, panties, shapewear, & daywear (Looks like mine expires today. It is the wifi Q. I believe there are some paper/cardboard Qs of these as well) Various percent off Qs sent to charge card holders when they use their card Back to School Sweepstakes (I got a one time use 20% off pass that I have to go online and enter a code to get) Kohl's is really showing the love.

Copied/pasted my post from another thread: You can also just print your $10/30 intimates if you don't get the paper. static.cdn.responsys.net/i2/responsysimages/content/kohls/080413_Intimates_HP.htm Always check Kohls.com and click on "Today's Deals" to look for these types of q's. I've found the men's ones there before when they were out in the paper. The kids apparel $10/25 is also linked there. www.kohls.com/sale-event/coupons-deals.jsp?CN=4294728571&N=4294728571
