I am a big dummy when it comes to shopping at these Office stores. I am looking at 9 empty ink cartridges. What do I do with them to earn free stuff.
Help me. Please.
i should add that I would love to earn rewards towards a new printer. Can this be done.

Yes it can be done, but the max you will have in rewards at any one time is $20 from recycling rewards. MAYBE $40 if the months overlap magically and the rewards are issued early or early/ontime.
What kinda printer?

Anyway, go to www.officemaxperks.com/Login.aspx and "Join Now." How you can pay for your printer is this: Recycle 10 inkjets per month. If you don't have enough, you can buy them on Ebay. I bought 250 of them for $42.50 shipped. Whenever OM puts copy paper on "100% rewards" buy it. It doesn't matter if you pay $ for it, you will get 100% rewards back. Then, sell the paper on Craigslist. Likewise with other sellable 100% rewards items, such as batteries, Sharpies, etc. Keep rolling your rewards forward to keep them fresh (like with RR at Walgreens). If you carefully roll your rewards, making money when you can (use MQ on the battery deals), you can amass a good amount of rewards $. However you have to be ready to pull the trigger on a printer when your rewards are at a high and the price of the printer is at a low (think Black Friday weekend). Let's discuss.

Only if the copy paper is 100% back in rewards. Is it? I haven't read the ad.

I don't think any of the Big 3 will pay for recycling generic cartridges. They all say "brand name" in their terms & conditions.

Then yes. But you only get credit for recycling 10 cartridges in a CALENDAR month, so don't take more in than that. You will get a rewards email about the middle of August for the stuff you buy/recycle now.

Sign up at Staples too. You can do another 10 cartridges a month there too. You can recycle 20 if you are a plus member. We bought a laptop from staples earlier this year so I can recycle 20 a month.

I think we have an Office Depot or Staples down the road. I never really paid attention. It is across from the Community Center which is my second home. I will look tomorrow. Maybe. Ok. Hopefully.,

Is everyone going through printer cartridges like crazy or just buying them?
Does this recycling stuff apply to lazer cartridges? Which I will never get through one in a month even.
