We are planning Valentine's fondue at home,a nice relaxing time to enjoy time with my husband and kids! We usually do cheese fondue, then also an oil where we cook steak, shrimp, mushrooms, etc. Then chocolate and carmel fondue with fruit, pound cake, marshmallows, etc. Add a nice bottle of wine and it's fun and delicious! I also usually bake and decorate cut out heart shaped cookies for Valentine's Day and share with friends.

We will figure out a nice dinner to make, something we all like--and just be nice to each other If prices of flowers drop I will have him bring his Mom some flowers and I will bring my Mom flowers Depending on the price we might surprise our widowed neighbor with some flowers or a plant One year we went to target later in the evening and they had marked all their flowers down to 1.00--for that price we will buy some and share Sometimes if you go to Aldi, you can also find cheap flowers--so my bottom line is only 1.00 if not I will buy my husband his favorite candy bar--and say here you go (I always yell at him for not eating healthy so this would be a nice surprise for him) Can you tell my bottom line price is 1.00!! Thanks for doing this--You are awesome!!

I will say, playing family games is a lot of fun We let the kids pick which one or ones to play So far the favorites are the game of Life, Mexican Train Dominoes, Uno (all different versions) Phase 10, Risk, Monopoly and Tripoly (f we go by his Moms it will be Tripoloy, Mexican train or Phase 10)

We are having a birthday party!
Earlier in the week, all three of us are going to the Valentine's Day party at the library. I'll mail our cards to Loveland, Colorado to get re-mailed with their special postmark. That's about it; we don't make a big deal out of V-Day here. I always tell DH it would mean more to get a card and flowers from him on any other day of the year, "just because." But now that we have DD I should probably be making heart-shaped cookies. We do have a simple Valentine's banner I plan to make with Kermetta this week. It's just foam cutouts and string; I think we can handle it.

What's the Loveland, CO story? withlovefromloveland.com/the-valentine-re-mailing-program/ The Valentine Re-Mailing Program Loveland is perhaps best known worldwide as the home of the “Valentine Re-Mailing Program”. Every year, more than a hundred thousand Valentines are packaged inside larger envelopes and sent to Loveland, where volunteers hand-stamp them with a Valentine’s verse and send them on to the intended recipients. Each year a contest is held by the Chamber of Commerce and promoted through through the local newspaper, the Reporter Herald, for residents to submit their designs and verses.
... Approximately 60 volunteers gather to stamp a special message from the Sweetheart City on valentine cards sent to Loveland from all 50 states and more than 120 countries in 2014.
How to Remail From Loveland – the ‘traditional’ way: If you would like to have your valentine card stamped with the official Loveland Colorado cachet and stamp, please mail your pre-stamped, pre-addressed envelopes (envelopes should each have 49-cent postage; postcards should have appropriate postage), add extra stamps/postage for heavier/odd shaped valentines, mail in a large stamped envelope to: Postmaster Attn: Valentine Re-mailing 446 E. 29th St. Loveland, CO 80538-9998
Updated 2015 Deadlines for delivery by Valentines Day, Feb. 14: For international destinations, your cards should be in Loveland by Feb. 4th. For within U.S. and outside of Colorado, cards should be in Loveland by Feb. 8th. For within the state of Colorado (and now Wyoming), cards should be in Loveland by Feb. 11th.
You can also buy cards directly from the program and they mail them for you.
