I got 2 phones from my Target and they are not marked on sale but $59.99. that's why I was able to find 2. Then I and put them up on craigslist and accepted offer of $20 for each, so my GCs are free!
I've read on afc, some are using this to make money off PerkTV while others say they can talk/txt with this phone w/o buying a data plan.
check it out if this works for ya'll.

If anyone wants to know how to set these up as a WIFI phone let me know. I have one of the $10 Kyocera from Target months ago and it does all of the usual WIFI stuff plus it can send and receive texts and make/receive calls. It isn't activated with Boost so it is just for DS6 to learn about phones at the moment.

DH recently retired an ancient Galaxy S something or other and it would be great if I could run SBTV on it. I thought I heard somewhere that you could do that somehow using WIFI, but I am clueless.

Sure. Put it in airplane mode but leave WIFI on, it should pick up an IP address just like an iPad or Kindle would. You'll have to enter the password the first time.
